The ZDK-03 Karakorum Eagle is a specialized Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft customized for export, notably to Pakistan. Based on the Y-8 transport platform, it features a large, fixed rotodome antenna housing a Chinese-made AESA radar for long-range air surveillance, command, and control. Its role is to dramatically enhance airspace situational awareness and coordinate fighter operations.
