The ST1 tank features a two-man turret equipped with a NATO standard 105mm tank gun, capable of firing a full range of ammunition, including armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot (APFSDS), high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) rounds, high-explosive (HE) rounds, and gun-launched missiles. A 7.62mm machine gun is coaxially mounted to the right of the main gun, and a 12.7mm machine gun for anti-aircraft defense is mounted on the right side of the turret top. Three smoke grenade launchers are mounted on each side of the turret.
The ST1 is equipped with the latest stabilized fire system technology, featuring thermal imaging capabilities, enabling engagement of moving or stationary targets both day and night.
A single door with a small bulletproof glass is mounted at the rear of the vehicle.

A two-way stabilized digital fire control system, combining aiming and guidance functions, enables rapid combat response, high first-shot hit probability, and 360° all-around engagement of stationary or moving targets.
With its long direct range, it can launch high-power 105mm anti-armor laser missiles within a 5000-meter range.
It can use high-explosive rounds with a range of 10 kilometers to strike multiple targets, such as effective fortifications, defensive positions, and firing positions.
An 8×8 wheeled chassis, a water-cooled diesel engine with a turbocharger and intercooler, an H-type mechanical transmission system, independent suspension, run-flat tires, and a central inflation/deflation system provide excellent mobility. Fully sealed armor, plus additional composite armor, smoke grenade launchers, a fire suppression system, a collective nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) protection system, and auxiliary weapons ensure strong battlefield survivability.
