The bulletproof vest is available in six sizes: S, M, L, XL, 2XL, and 3XL. Please use this size chart. Your bulletproof vest size is not your T-shirt size. Use this height and weight chart to choose the best vest size for you.
Another point to note regarding body armor vest sizing: Your body armor vest needs to fit snugly in one key area: around the navel. The length of the vest isn’t important, as you can adjust it with the shoulder straps; the important factor to consider is chest circumference.
What does this body armor vest protect against? A Class IIIA body armor vest can protect against almost all handgun bullets. The NIJ Class IIIA body armor vest has been tested to protect against bullets smaller than .44 Magnum, a very powerful bullet. This vest also protects against smaller bullets. We can confidently say that a Class IIIA body armor vest can protect you from almost any handgun damage, and certainly from any damage from that handgun.
What can’t it protect against? No body armor vest can protect against every bullet, and without additional ballistic plates, a Class IIIA body armor vest cannot protect against heavy fire. That’s why we offer additional ballistic plate models, and we also sell ballistic plates if you need to upgrade your body armor.
