Launching by ship, the LQ-008 Antisubmarine Rocket Assisted Torpedo System, reaches predetermined in-water point with rocket assisted flight,automatically searches,tracks and attacks enemy submarines. It can be equipped in hundred-ton class missile patrol boats or 1000t-4000t class small and medium-sized destroyer-frigates.It is matched with export lightweight torpedo ET60, ET-52C and other type of combat load and often used for striking conventional power submarine and nuclear power submarine.
