OVERVIEW
The guidance and control system of FT-3A is upgraded from FT-3. By adopting the IR or TV seeker, FT-3A’s accuracy has been enhanced up to 3m. It serves to precisely attack ground construction, bridge, medium or small size command post, airport runway, air defense radar position, port and other fixed ground targets. The conventional 250kg bombs can be modified to FT-3A. It can be equipped on any aircraft that is capable of carrying conventional aerial bombs.

SYSTEM COMPOSITION
FT-3A consists of warhead, fuze, guidance and control unit, and TV or IR seeker. The main electronic devices are inside the guidance and control cabin, including flight controller, inertial measurement unit (IMU), GPS unit, rudder and thermal battery, etc. The warhead and fuze are inherited from the original 250kg bomb.
