The CS/LS7 submachine gun is designed to fire most types of the 9x19mm Luger / Parabellum ammunition, including indigenous ‘less-lethal’ rounds with rubber bullets, produced in China for riot control and other similar purposes. This weapon uses simple blowback action and fires from a closed bolt. It can deliver full automatic fire or single shots. Mode of fire controlled by a safety / selector lever switch, located on the left side of the gun, above the pistol grip. The upper receiver is made from lightweight alloy, and the lower receiver (trigger housing with pistol grip and magazine well) is made from plastic. Submachine gun uses detachable box magazines with capacity of 30 rounds, made from plastic. The gun has an automatic bolt hold-open device; its release button is located on the left side of the receiver.
CS/LS7 submachine gun
The CS/LS7 submachine gun is equipped with an integrated Picatinny rail above the receiver. Iron sights with flip-up aperture (diopter) rear sight are installed on removable bases. Optional Red Dot or other sights can be installed on the same rail. Gun is available with several variants of the shoulder stock, including the side-folding polymer sock, adjustable for length of pull, or telescoping retractable stock. If required, it also can be fired with the stock removed.
